The Soul Shepherding Ministry of Woodbridge Church is about spiritual formation: a journey of transformation of the innermost being of the person. Every person is unique, with his or her own personality, needs, gifts, vocation and calling, all pointing to a unique purpose in life. Sometimes that purpose is not so clear, depending on your stage of life. Spiritual direction can give you a clearer understanding of the stages of faith, barriers to growth, and how to follow Jesus in ways that are relevant to you now.

Soul Shepherding provides a personal framework for spiritual direction, giving seekers of Christ a heading toward spiritual growth and maturity.

Meet our Spiritual Shepherd

Greetings! My name is Marina Ball and I have been a member of Woodbridge Community Church for over 40 years. I was a new Christian when I became a member, and God allowed me to grow quickly and develop a passion for spiritual formation, which is ways to know God better.

When I retired from my career, our pastoral staff suggested I get training in spiritual direction so I could be a resource for our church family. I completed the two-year training program and am a certified spiritual director, or as we call it here, a "Spiritual Shepherd." I meet with people who want to go deeper in their relationship with God, together seeking the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
