Follow-up Questions from Sunday:
Quick Review:
Looking back at your notes from this week’s teaching, was there anything you heard for the first time or that caught your attention, challenged, or confused you?
Digging Deeper:
1. Read Luke 17:11-17. What do you think it was like being a leper back then? What do you think healing would have meant for them? How would this have changed their life in big and small ways?
2. As one of the nine how do you think they rationalized not going back to Jesus and saying thank you?
3. On Sunday, Rommell wanted to give testimony to the goodness of God in saving his life. He wanted to publicly thank God, and the person who stepped in and saved his life with CPR. Why do you think it’s important to be grateful and thankful in life?
4. How would you rate yourself as a thankful person in relation to your relationship with God, your family, friends, etc.? When was the last time you remember saying “thank you” to somebody? What did they do for you?
5. What things in your life are you most thankful for?
