Follow-up Questions from Sunday:
Quick Review:
Looking back at your notes from this week’s teaching, was there anything you heard for the first time or that caught your attention, challenged, or confused you?

Intro thought:
Generally speaking, what do you think are the biggest differences between guy and girl movies?

Digging Deeper:
1. When you read Acts 10:1-20, how would you describe Cornelius? What do you think Jesus was trying to teach Peter? Why do you think He gave the vision three times?
2. When you read Acts 10:21-23, what do you think was going on in the mind of Peter?
3. In Acts 10:24-29, what may be some of the emotions and thoughts Peter was experiencing? Do you think this was hard and uncomfortable for him? Why or why not?
4. How would you summarize Peter’s message in Acts 10:30-43?
5. How would you describe the reaction of Peter and the Jews with him in Acts 10:44-48 as the Gentiles believed in Jesus and began showing signs of the Holy Spirit in their lives?
6. Read Acts 11:1-18. Why do you think Peter got in such trouble with the Church in Jerusalem for entering a Gentile’s home? How would you describe his defense and theirs?

7. Why is the story of Cornelius so important in Acts? What impact did this event have on human history?

Prayer:
Pray that you would personally understand the message of Jesus and that you would be given opportunities to share Jesus with others.
