1. Read Exodus 20:1-17. What passed for an idol back then? What do you think passes for an idol today?
2. How do you think we misuse the Lord’s name in word and deed today? How do you think that makes Him feel?
3. How does murder vary from killing? What does Jesus add to this in Matthew 5:21-22?
4. What happens to a couple when one commits adultery? What does Jesus add to this in Matthew 5:28?
5. How many of the 10 commandments have you not kept perfectly? What does this say about you before a Holy God?  Read Romans 3:19-23.
6. Read Romans 6:23, 10:9-13. If sin is our problem before a Holy God, how has He dealt with our sin so that we could be healed?  When did you first confess Jesus and receive His work on the cross for your life?
