Sermon Notes:
INTRODUCTION
1. THE CHAOS (verses 35 & 37) – storms are a test
Storms of life can come even when we are in the Lord’s will
The disciples began to panic
2. THE CALM (verses 38-39) – storms teach us about the Lord Jesus Christ
The mystery and marvel of the person of Jesus
Creation heard the voice of its Creator
3. THE CHIDE OR CENSURE (verse 40) – storms teach us about ourselves
We learn much about ourselves
We need to remember that Jesus is in the boat with us.
APPLICATION:
THERE ARE SOME THINGS WE CAN ONLY LEARN IN A STORM
