1. The Epistles are letters written by the Apostles to the Church for instruction and encouragement.
a. Colossians 1 gives us information on the person and nature of Christ.
b. Ephesians 1 gives us information on our identity in Christ.
c. Galatians gives us information on the completed work of Christ.
2. Paul teaches in 1 Corinthians 8 that our love for God and people should always be the motivating factor in exercising our personal liberty.
