Sermon Notes:
1. The book of Revelation is ultimately about Jesus Christ.
2. The road map to Revelation is found in verse 1:19.
a. The phrase “what you have seen” focuses on John seeing Christ’s majesty. (Chapter 1)
b. The phrase “what is now” focuses on Christ’s warnings to the churches of Asia Minor at the time of the writing. (Chapter 2-3)
c. The phrase “what will take place later” focuses on Christ’s triumph and future kingdom (Chapter 4-22)
3. Whenever Scripture talks about End Times it is followed by encouragement to keep going.
4. The book of Revelation helps us to see the future clearly so that we can live in the present wisely.
