Different Opinions Over Who Jesus Is: John 7
Series: The Gospel of John
Key verse: John 7
Sermon Notes
Opinions of Jesus in John 7:
1. Jesus’ brothers and sisters’ opinion of Him is that He is not doing miracles, but He is motivated by popularity. (John 7:2-5)
2. The crowds in Jerusalem had mixed opinions. Some thought He was a good man, some thought He was a deceiver/false teacher.
3. The religious leaders see Him as a bad theologian and want him dead.
4. Jesus’ message in Jerusalem (John 7) is the same as in Galilee (Jn 6)– in Him God provides eternal life.
