Women’s Ministry Craft Nights

Operation Christmas Child is more than a single packing season, it’s something our church builds together all year long!  Our church is already preparing for this year’s shoeboxes, and there are so many simple ways you can be part of it.

You can help with our Operation Christmas Child nights, which take place on the Third Mondays of the month.  We work on assembly sewing kits, school supply kits, and as we get closer to collection week in November, we work on packing boxes.  You can also help by giving all year long.  We have a flyer of suggested items that you can purchase year-round if you see them on sale, and we will have collection bins in the lobby every week.  You can also help financially!  If you have ever met Doreen Nickens, you know that she is always on the hunt for a good bargain!  And one of the bargains she has found is these soccer balls!  She has found a source to purchase these soccer balls for $6.99, and they include a pump!

For some of you, that’s a Starbucks order!  If you want to forgo your Starbucks order and donate to our Operation Christmas Child fund so that we can purchase things like this soccer ball, you can do so by designating “Missions: OCC” on your offering envelope.  We can’t thank you enough for helping us as we send the message that “Jesus loves you” to children all across the world.
