Jesus teaches in John 6 that:
1. His coming to earth is beyond the physical necessities of life. (John 6:25-27)
2. We are saved only by our belief in Him and His work! (John 6:29)
3. He is the only permanent satisfaction for everlasting life. (John 6:32-35)
4. God is the one that does the initiative in bringing us to His Son. (John 6:44-45)
5. Moses gave physical bread that sustained God’s people in the wilderness for 40 years. But Jesus has come to give us spiritual bread that will satisfy God’s people throughout all eternity! (John 6:46-48)
6. In John 6, Jesus’ miracle of feeding the five thousand set up His message the next day.
7. Jesus’ message is that we need Him more than just as a political figure, but for eternal life!
