People followed Jesus for their own expectations and reasons.
- The Zealots followed Jesus seeking political freedom.
- The “free loaders” followed Jesus for free food.
- The entertainment crowed followed Jesus because it was exciting.
- The personal advancement people followed Jesus for power and position.
What does Jesus desire from His followers? Lk 14?
- Jesus wants to be the number one passion and purpose in your life.
- The word “hate” means to hold in relative disregard.
