DIGGING DEEPER:
1. Read Ephesians 5:1-2. Share how you see yourself doing a good job of imitating God and walking in the love of Christ. In what ways could you do better?
2. Discuss how you can display the love of the Lord in your relationships with other people.

3. Read Ephesians 5:3-14. These are clearly ungodly items. In what ways are they also unloving? What is the benefit of exposing sin to light?
4. Read Ephesians 5:15-20. Discuss how the people of God find out what pleases the Lord and understand what His will is.

5. Read Ephesians 5:21. How does the command make you feel – joyful or angry? Why? How should it make you feel? Discuss whether you are a submissive person or not.
6. Discuss how a person can rightfully submit without being a “doormat”. How do we practice Biblical submission without being abused by others?

7. Share what ways you look for needs in others and seek to minister to those needs.
8. Share If you are an employer how you treat your employees with a servant’s heart. And if you’re an employee share how you treat your work as service to the Lord.
