Hanukkah and December 25th

Sermon Notes:

  1. The Hebrew word for dedication is Hanukkah.
  2. On December 25th, 168 B.C. the temple was desecrated.
  3. On December 25th, 165 B.C. the temple was rededicated.
  4. Jesus’ coming has redeemed December 25th as one of the greatest, most holiest days of the year.
  5. God is sovereign.
