Hanukkah and December 25th

Sermon Notes:

1. The Hebrew word for dedication is Hanukkah.
2. On December 25^th, 168 B.C. the temple was desecrated.
3. On December 25^th, 165 B.C. the temple was rededicated.
4. Jesus’ coming has redeemed December 25^th as one of the greatest, most holiest days of the year.
5. God is sovereign.
