1. The sword in Joshua’s hand and the staff in Moses’ hand represent how human responsibility and divine sovereignty work together in carrying out the will of God.
2. When we experience God in our lives, we learn something about God.
3. When we experience God in our lives, we realize that He is working in our present day.
