Helping Colossae to know Jesus better:
1. Jesus is the perfect image of the nature/being of God.
2. Jesus is the firstborn over all creation in rank and supremacy.
a. He is first born over creation because He made it!
b. All creation was made by Him and for Him.
c. He holds all creation together.
3. Jesus is the head of the church because He created it.
4. Jesus is the beginning of a new humanity in His resurrection.
5. The more we realize who Christ is, the more amazing our salvation becomes.
