Digging Deeper:
1. Last Sunday’s message talked about the importance of giving your testimony and that we should be excellent storytellers about Jesus. If you were to give a testimony about your experience with Jesus/God, what personal story would you include? Note: Share just one. Give everyone an opportunity to share.
2. Why do you think persecuted Christians are willing to suffer and even die for Jesus? In contrast, why are other Christians not willing to boldly proclaim their devotion to Jesus?
3. Read Ephesians 4:11-16. Why is serving the Lord an important factor in a Christian’s spiritual growth?
4. Read Hebrews 10:24-25. Encouragement plays an important part in building up the church family. Cite examples of how we can encourage one another in church. Cite examples when our actions can be a discouragement to others in church.
5. Pastor Vince challenged the church to have a meaningful life by having the following:
A story to tell
A calling to serve
