The Nativity: The Need to Be Alert

THE NEED TO BE ALERT

Revelation 12:1-5

In Rev. 12:1-5, we read that there was more going on at the birth of Christ than we realize. His birth was a crucial part of a serious spiritual conflict that existed and still exists today. May we all be reminded this Christmas season of the following:

Our enemy is real. (Rev 12.)
As God’s children we are at war as well. (Eph 6.)
We are vital assets of God’s kingdom. (Mt 5:13-16,2 Cor 5:20)
We are targets of the enemy. (1 Peter 5:8-9)
We all need to stay alert. (1 Peter 5:8-9)
