Follow-up Questions from Sunday:
Quick Review:
Looking back at your notes from this week’s teaching, was there anything you heard for the first time or that caught your attention, challenged, or confused you?
Digging Deeper
1. Read 2 Corinthians 10:6 and 1 Timothy 6:12. How do you think these relate to the message today?
2. Do you think that as a child of God you should be afraid of Satan in any sense? Discuss why or why not. (Refer to 1 John 4:4)
3. If a Christian person tells you they are having trouble trusting God in a trial they are experiencing, what would you say to them?
4. Read again Ephesians 6:16. Share some examples of flaming arrows that Satan has sent you. What did you do to defend yourself against these attacks? How did the Shield of Faith help you?
ACTION POINT:
Share with the group any trials or challenges you may be facing recently. Then let the group “Lock-Shields” with you in prayer and ask God for the victory in Christ.
