Sermon Notes:
1. Prophecy is a miracle of the Bible that no other religion of the world can match.
2. Prophecy is a proof that God gives us to show that He is real and that what He says is true!
The Bible…
3. Is a library of 66 books written between 1,450 BC to 90 AD.
4. Was written by over 40 different people on 3 different continents in 3 different languages.
5. Writers were kings, statesmen, priests, prophets, a tax collector, a physician, a tentmaker, and a fisherman.
a. Miraculously they produced a set of writings that is a marvelous unity in its doctrine, historical viewpoints, ethics, and expectations.
b. Throughout these 1,500 years there is a consistent view of God, man, sin, salvation, a coming Messiah, and a Kingdom.
6. Jesus says the Scriptures and the Savior are interlinked!
7. The Word of God builds faith.
