1. Understanding the Law is critical to understanding the mission of Jesus for our lives. (Lk 24:25-27)
2. Before Moses, God’s people had very limited knowledge of Him. (Ex 3:4-14)
What does the tabernacle communicate about God?
3. God is holy and set apart from mankind.
a. God’s holiness is absolute purity, unstained even by the shadow of sin. (1 Jn 1:5, Hab 1:13)
b. God’s holiness is the sum of all moral excellence.
c. God’s holiness is the most celebrated attribute of His nature. (Is 6:1-3, Rev 4:8, Psalm 89:35)
4. One main thing we learn from the law is that God is Holy and we are not.
5. Jesus makes you holy. (2 Cor 5:17-21, Col 1:22)
